Hispanic Festival Highlights:
The Festival had a great turnout, everyone enjoyed a variety of activities, including exciting events for kids, live music from a talented band, and numerous vendor booths showcasing delicious food and unique crafts. The atmosphere was lively, filled with laughter and joy, making it a perfect day for families and friends to come together.
As the President of the Latin Club, I had the pleasure of engaging with many community members about our club and its mission. I’m excited to announce that we gained several new commitments to join our group!
We are eager to welcome these new members and expand our community.
Thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, and supported the festival. Special thanks to Omar for his exceptional leadership in making this event a reality.

Political Pulse and Beats: Highlights
An unforgettable celebration of culture, connection, and community. With the esteemed Senator Burton as our keynote speaker. She even took the time for a Q & A session, engaging directly with the audience and providing valuable perspectives. However, the event went far beyond just politics; it was a lively celebration of what makes our Latin culture so special.
Guests were invited to participate in a fantastic dance session led by an expert instructor, who brought energy and joy to the room. There was also a talented singer who captivated the audience with beautiful, soulful music, adding a unique layer to the evening’s entertainment.
The event was filled with laughter as members connected with one another, shared stories, and celebrated shared experiences. The raffle prizes created even more excitement and engagement, ensuring that everyone left with a smile on their face. The Polk County Republican Latin Club is more than just a place for discussing politics – it is about honoring and celebrating who we are, embracing our heritage, and supporting one another.
The event was a perfect reflection of the club's mission to bring people together and highlight the rich, vibrant culture that makes the Latin community so remarkable. A huge thank you to our Event Coordinator and Secretary, Violeta, for her hard work in making this event a success!

The Polk County Latin Republican Club was proud to host an evening with Sheriff Grady Judd at the Winter Haven Chamber of Commerce on April 24th.
The room was full of energy, community spirit, and meaningful conversation as members and guests gathered to hear Sheriff Judd speak on one of the most pressing topics of our time: Immigration.
With clarity, compassion, and a strong sense of service, Sheriff Judd shared his perspective and experiences, shedding light on the challenges and opportunities surrounding immigration in our community.
The talk sparked a powerful Q&A session, where attendees asked thoughtful questions and took part in meaningful conversations.
From the warm welcome to the lively conversations and delicious refreshments, the event was a beautiful celebration of community, culture, and civic engagement.
To close the evening, the Latin Club proudly presented Sheriff Grady Judd with a special award honoring his dedication to our community, recognizing his long-standing service and commitment to making Polk County a stronger, safer place for all.
